WinUAE full-screen problems

Postby primus on Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:29 am

Hi all!

I just upgraded my computer to Windows 7 x64 (retail) and now I can't use WinUAE anymore!

It's usable, but only barely. When I enable vsync the framerate drops to 20-ish and the sound is completely jerky. Also applying any of the filters (PAL, D3D etc) causes WinUAE to crash to desktop without any error messages (only Windows generic error).

The only way I can play with proper sound and framerate is by disabling vsync/fullscreen/filters and play in windowed mode. Even then I get occasional stuttering and jerkyness.

I'm using the latest beta (WinUAE v2b18), Windows 7 x64 retail, radeon 4870, 4gigs crucial ddr2 and intel c2q 9650.

I'll be the happiest man on earth if someone can get my WinUAE working again. Thanks!
