I remember when I first saw an atari in my basement when I was 5 years old. I have never seen anything like it. It had a woodgrain strip in the front, and the black plastic ridges. There were 6 switches, and inside the cartridge slot was Ms. Pac-Man. My father plugged it in, and for the first time I played a video game. Then I looked around more and found a Pac-Man cartridge. It was one of the worse games I ever played. How could Atari screw up like that? For god sake's it was horrible! 2 days ago I was on the internet looking around for Ms. Pac-Man for Stella, when I eyed Pac-2600. Without thinking, I downloaded it and started playing. It looked great compared to the version we were treated to on the original Atari! With the graphical limitations, it couldn't possibly be like the arcade version. But it felt more like it then the original. It plays smooth, but thats on a keyboard. If I could I would love to put the ROM in a physical cartridge, and if anybody can tell me how to do it you will be blessed with Pac-Chocolate! Here are some HIGH quality screenshots from my computer.
