Never Gonna Grow Up!!

Postby gosharpie97 on Tue Dec 08, 2009 4:12 am

Hi all !!! I'm a 14-17 yr old trapped in a 42 yr old mans body.My first job was at 14 yrs old in a bowling alley.I was also a competative bowler until 25 yrs old so I was hanging around in bowling alleys for approx 11 years.A couple of my early favs were "Star Castle" and "Excite Bike".I remember trading in old vinyl lp's for quarters and even raiding my quarter collection that my mom had hidden away(so she thought) Anything to get some scratch to hang out and play those now prehistoric graphics and the pinballs that had just started with digital electronic scoring.
And now some 25+ years later I find myself with a 1994 "Freddy-A Nightmare on Elm Street" pinball and I just purchased a brand new 60 game "cocktail sit down" replica with all those obsolite but awesome grafics and sound tracks from the 80's.
I love playing these games with my wife and 13 yr old BUT the felling is NOT mutual.Yes, I'm sure you all here it as well "dad, you take too long!!".I am forced to "dump & die" just so they will occasionally will sit and play with me.

Enough about me,now feed me with knowledge, tricks and tips to keep my belly full!!

........thanks in advance.....Gosharpie97.

Welcome Sharpie!

That interesting, considering I'm 14 and I can't imagine my 50 year old father sitting down and playing a video game. I think its how we "teens" work. Except I don't fall for current trends...
