Hello everyone,

I played this game in the mid to late '90s when I was about half my age so here's what I remember:

-Side-scroller moving left to right
-Could be played as one or two player
-You were one of two muscle bound guys and you beat bad guys up
-Dead bad guys would drop money in the form of green bills
-The biggest clue I have is that in one level you jump into a red car that shoots missiles
-You fire these at dumpsters to get them out of your way at some points

Everything you say reminds me of Final Fight, except for the red car + missile part.

It's similar, but the sports car that shoots rockets is key; I remembered you also control the speed and position of the car so you can run people over and collect the cash while in the car

Looks like I just needed the right combination of keywords in a google search to come up with the answer!

NARC! Definitely a classic. Played it yes, although it's not one of my favorite games. I will give it another shot when I finish the cabinet I'm currently working on.
