Star Wars Trilogy power supply

Postby Kilby on Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:34 pm

I am currently working on the sitdown Star Wars Trilogy arcade, which boots up and can be played for a few minutes until the power supply shuts down. After unhooking the power supply it will work again for a few minutes then shuts down again. I have had the power supply tested by an electronics shop and they say it is good. I have also hooked the game up to a different monitor(still projection) and the power supply still shuts down. What would be causeing the power supply to shut off? any direction in this matter would be awesome. thanks

After further troubleshooting i believe the problem is with one of the componets down the line, and thats whats causing the powersupply to shut off. Any ideas as to the culpret and Is this a commen problem with sega games?
