Looking for an old mech arcade game.

Ok, so many years ago, I'd say probably about 10, I went to the local mall to check out the arcade. Entering the arcade I noticed a bunch of new machines. There were 4 in total and they were all really close together, two side by side and the other two against the backs in the same manner. I remember it was like getting into a cockpit or something and there were several controls about, I can't remember the exact layout. The graphics were amazing(to me at the time) and 3d and the style is similar to Custom Robo for the gamecube. It played like a first person fighting game and it was against the other people in the other machines or against the cpu.

For the life of me I have not been able to remember what its called and the arcade shut down a few months after that visit. I would love to be able to find out what it is and see if it is possible to get my hands on one or two. Those are all the details I can remember. Any suggestions or guesses at what it could be are greatly appreciated.
