Gorf Restoration

Postby corporall on Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:31 am

Got an upright Gorf for free...previous owner said it worked on day, then didn't work the next.
Thought it would be an easy repair for an Electronics Technician...no such luck.

I have power to the monitor...the screen glows blue...however no image is displayed and no sound it heard.

Does anyone have any idea of what I can look for to fix this? Thanks muchly.

a new screen might do the trick, would be hard to find a new game board...

so i got a new type of power supply from an arcade store online...specific gorf...connected it....turned everything on....lights come on...screen comes on...no game though...

Followed a few online suggestions...gotta love google...
I tested the voltage coming from the card cage....nothing...nothing at all...

Anyone have suggestions? I'm trying to find a card cage online.

I'm currently on my way home from vacation but when I get back home I'll see if I can help you find a new cage. :)
