A few idea's

Ok now I'm hoping all these ideas wont be taken offensivley as they are just ways to improve the site, I don't expect you to take on board everything / anything I mention but these are a few ideas which you may like to try out.

Forum Ranks

Maybe add Forum Ranks for lower members and as they post more they become a higher rank, I'm not sure if you have done this allready or not but I like to post knowing I'm working for a new rank.

Thanks Buttons

On a lot of Forum's their are Thankyou button where is a user posts a good post you can Thank them, it appears in there profile and says how many times they have been thanked.

Arcade

Allready mentioned the Arcade in another Thread.

User Colours

Maybe give the members a different colour then plane black, Bold black would own

Portal

Maybe by adding it Portal it could make the apperance of the site look better and atract more members to join.

Shoutbox

Maybe add a Shoutbox to the site so members can discuss freely and quickly.

Thats a pretty cool idea actually, but what would this "Spam section" contain? What sort of Posts and Threads?

We can have post games, like "Count to a million" and people can post their random stuff there.

I'm back from vacation now and I will start working on adding more features ASAP.

We already have forum ranks which depends on the user's amount of posts. Keep posting and you will see your rank go up.

A chat module will be added soon and I will also look at adding a "thanks"/reputation system. A portal will come eventually, but we will focus on getting the forum up and running first. Arcade games might be added in the future as well and then you can also expect a forum global scoring system.

If you have any more suggestions, now would be the best time to let us know.

I'm not sure how planned ahead you are but another idea would be a Battle MOD possibly?

I honestly don't know what a battle mod is, but I think we should keep the amount of "fun" mods down, as this forum is foremost dedicated to arcade gaming/cabinet building and emulation.
